We are looking for a Patient Attendant to fill a temporary position in the Medicine/Short-Term Care (6050) and Living Environment - CHSLD (6060) departments for CS Isle-Dieu (Matagami).

Job Details:

• Duration of Need: From February 7, 2025, to November 6, 2025
• Required Availability: Day and evening shifts
• Standard Hours: 7 days a week, 12 hours per day (08:00 AM - 08:00 PM) with 1 hour and 38 minutes for meal breaks
• Atypical Hours: Yes
• On-Call: No
• Driver’s License Required: No
• Vehicle Required: No
• Orientation Required: Yes, one day of orientation to be scheduled
• Qualifications Required:
  • At least 6 months of experience in medicine (preferred)

Job Description:

The Patient Attendant will be responsible for providing direct care and support to patients during their stay in hospital and CHSLD settings. You will assist with daily living activities and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life of the patients.
